For me, creating art work has been a passion since I was a child. Comic books, classical paintings, classic Roman sculpture, I loved it all and knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life bringing my ideas and fantasies to life. Born and raised in southeastern Michigan, my parents urged me to develop my skills as an artist and after high school I enrolled in classes at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Having an affinity for comic books, I began my education in sequential art at SCAD. It was after my undergrad degree that I realized that I wanted to pursue a career as a concept artist and began my MFA at SCAD, where I was able to work as concept artist creating props for the Ghost Ship Productions film Sidesho. When I’m not working on a new project I try to find time tol enjoy the company of my friends, occasionally playing a video game or two and relax from the rigors of trying to find a job.
